Your key duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handle preliminary enquiries over the counter and over the phone from prospective tenants when able providing general information from the rental list
  • Maintain a high commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Actively set out to lease listed properties in a timely manner
  • Manage promotional activities including signage, photography and advertising
  • Conduct property inspections with prospective tenants
  • Communicate activities with owners and develop owner relationships
  • Carry out tenant reference checking processes
  • Prepare new tenancy lease packs for signing up
  • Achieve and report to management on set Key Performance Indicators
  • Attend all internal training and meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation.

The role of a leasing consultant is to support promotional activities concerned with the leasing of listed properties and contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the property management department.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

  • Current Industry standard certifications
  • Reliable car/drivers licence
  • Finley tuned negotiation skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Corporate presentation
  • An eye for attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Organised, reliable and be willing to take on a diverse range of tasks
