We are currently seeking skilled compassionate, and reliable High Needs Support Workers to provide in-home care to elderly people in Eltham and surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll help clients live independently, feel respected, and stay connected to their community by assisting with:

  • Personal Care – Supporting clients who live with complex care needs with showering, grooming, and daily hygiene routines. High-needs care experience is essential for this role.
  • Home Cleaning – Household cleaning and laundry tasks are a core part of the role, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Meal Preparation – Cooking simple, nutritious meals
  • Shopping – Assisting with errands or accompanying clients to the shops
  • Transport - Pick up/drop off services, driving clients where they need to go.
  • Respite - Relieving informal carers from their duties for a specific time in or out of home.
  • Social Support – Engaging clients in companionship, social outings, home-based activities, appointment activities.
  • Wellbeing Monitoring – Observing and reporting changes in physical or emotional health

This role involves travelling between clients homes, so you'll need your own reliable car.

What You'll Need

  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact
  • Minimum availability of 3 weekdays Mon-Fri. This role is program specific and requires you to work from 7am.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Aging Support, with accompanying academic transcript (students nearing completion welcome to apply)
  • Current Victorian Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination evidence (as per public health orders)
