Coles Group Insurance protects our team members, customers, and business. We work across a variety of areas, from workers compensation to property insurance to public liability insurance. Our team offers strategic advice that guides decision making and helps Coles Group achieve its business outcomes.

We're looking for a proactive Business Analyst to join our Insurance team, supporting the systems and processes that underpin our operational functions. You'll play a key role in ensuring our insurance systems run efficiently, while also driving improvements through project delivery, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

What you'll be doing

• Provide day-to-day support for insurance technology systems, including triaging inbox queries, resolving issues, and coordinating system enhancements.
• Partner with business users across Legal, Safety, Finance and Risk to identify needs, gather requirements and translate them into effective technical or process solutions.
• Lead and support small to medium projects that enhance system capability, streamline processes, and strengthen compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for insurance system queries.
• Manage issue logs, documentation, and change requests to ensure timely resolution and transparent communication across teams.
• Liaise with vendors and IT to ensure smooth system operation and quality assurance during updates or integrations.

What you'll bring

• Strong business analysis and project coordination skills with experience working in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Proven experience supporting or improving technology systems; ideally within an insurance, finance, legal, or safety context.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.
• Ability to navigate and interpret regulatory or compliance frameworks relevant to insurance or risk management.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to pick up new systems, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes under pressure.

About you

You may currently be a Business Analyst, Systems Support Specialist, or Project Coordinator with a strong technology background who's looking to step into a more operational role within insurance. Or you might come from a finance or insurance background with solid analytical and tech skills, ready to grow your project and systems experience.

Either way, you'll be curious, collaborative, and motivated to make an impact in a team that values both precision and innovation.
