As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at HBF, you'll dive deep into data to deliver insights that guide key business decisions. Working closely with a range of HBF stakeholders you will use your expertise to advise on pricing and forecasting, mentor junior analysts and lead important projects.

What you'll do

You'll be the go-to person for insightful actuarial analysis that helps our business leaders make smart decisions. This means:

  • Diving into data and business intelligence tools to uncover insights and support portfolio management
  • Advising on pricing, forecasting, and emerging industry trends that could impact our business
  • Collaborating with teams across the business from Products to Provider Relations to make sure everyone's equipped with the right data
  • Supporting strategic projects and driving improvements across the business

About you

With 4+ years of actuarial or related experience (bonus if you're progressing through the fellowship program) you are a pro with Excel, Snowflake, SQL, and love digging into data to tell a story.

You know complex actuarial concepts like pricing, reserving, and modelling insights and are curious, strategic, and always thinking about how your insights can impact the bigger picture.

Communication is your strength, whether it's presenting findings or coaching teammates, you thrive in a team environment and know how to juggle priorities in a fast-moving workplace
