As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting actuarial decision-making by developing and maintaining analytical solutions. You'll work across forecasting, segmentation, scenario modelling, and data visualisation to uncover opportunities, mitigate risks, and deliver insights that drive business growth.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for:


• Analyse internal and external data to solve business problems and support decision-making.


• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models using tools like Power BI.


• Prepare monthly reporting for executive leadership and internal committees.


• Extract, manipulate, and model data from various sources to improve quality and efficiency.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify trends, interpret patterns, and propose solutions.


• Ensure reporting aligns with MIPS' risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring


• Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, and scenario modelling across multiple data sources.


• Strong skills in Power BI, Excel, and data extraction tools; familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


• A continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.


• Qualifications in actuarial science, data science, commerce, maths, or a related field.
