About the role

A rare opportunity has become available to join Western Health's Finance team as a Finance Business Partner, covering a maternity leave position. This fixed-term role offers the chance to be part of a high-performing team and work closely with key business units to drive financial performance and support informed, strategic decision-making across the organisation.

The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making across designated business units within Western Health. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role partners with leaders to provide financial insights, analysis, and advice that drive improved business performance and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Case Development & Evaluation
• Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Business Partnering & Other Finance related matters
• Other adhoc duties

About you:

• Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in financial analaysis, reporting and data interpretation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
• High level of computer literacy, particularly strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data modelling).
• Sound knowledge of and past exposure to Power BI.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
