Are you a strategic finance professional ready to make a global impact? Kao Australia is seeking a
Commercial Finance Business Partner
to lead financial planning and analysis for the
Bondi Sands Global
business, located in Port Melbourne (with the ability to work from East Malvern as required). This is a high-impact role that partners across departments to drive commercial outcomes, support strategic initiatives, and deliver financial insights that shape the future of a globally recognized brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the commercial build of annual budgets, long-term plans, and monthly forecasts. Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational goals.
  • Commercial Partnering Act as the primary financial advisor to business units, providing insights on profitability, resource allocation, and investment feasibility.
  • Profit Management Drive month-end close processes, variance analysis, and performance reporting to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
  • NPD Staging Gate Lead financial modeling and commercial assessment of new product development projects, supporting decision-making from concept to launch.
  • Business Planning & OKRs Contribute to the achievement of Australian & Global Accounting and Finance strategies, including ESG and transformation goals.
  • Accounting & Professional Development Ensure compliance with Kao and IFRS accounting standards, support audits, and contribute to policy development.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Member of a professional accounting body
  • 5–10 years of finance and management experience
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP/BI/BPC experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • A collaborative mindset and customer service orientation
