Serena Care is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable female NDIS Support Workers to provide personalised in-home and community support to a female participant in Doveton, Victoria.

Shift Availability

  • Tuesday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Extra shifts may be offered to cover leave or as the role grows.

About the Role

Provide one-on-one care and support, including:

  • Personal Care & Mobility: Assist with walking, safe transfers, showering, and dressing
  • Health & Wellbeing: Support mental health and emotional wellbeing, follow a strict meal plan, and assist with medication (competency preferred or training provided)
  • Daily Living & Community: Light household tasks, meal preparation, and community outings

Skills & Requirements

  • Female Support Worker (participant preference)
  • Warm, patient, and able to build rapport easily
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability
  • Experience supporting mental health needs and following strict meal plans
  • Medication competency or willingness to complete Serena Care training
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred care
  • Full driver's licence and own car (preferred)

Essential Criteria (must have or be willing to obtain)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • COVID-19 Infection Control Training Certificate

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 20 per week
