About Us:

We are a new Indian restaurant opening soon in South East Melbourne. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to support our chefs and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients).
  • Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans efficiently.
  • Help with stock rotation, storage, and deliveries.
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand in a restaurant or café is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
