Steves Liquor Warehouse Launceston, is looking for a full-time liquor position to be filled in our store.

The role:

Primary responsibilities will revolve around receiving stock from our suppliers, packing stock for our customers, and maintaining floor stock levels to make it easily shoppable.

Ideally you will have previous experience within the liquor industry, however, this is not a requirement. You will need to have a passion for customer service and want to contribute positively to our team with a strong willingness to learn.

You must be willing to work some closes, weekends and public holidays as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist in handling wholesale account orders and deliveries
  • Checking of goods inwards and outwards to putting stock away in an efficient manner
  • The ability to carry out moderate to heavy lifting
  • Cash handling with accuracy and efficiency

To be successful:

  • Forklift license
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a warehousing position
  • Ability to do some weekend work
  • Must be willing to complete the required Responsible Service of Alcohol course within 3 months of starting
  • Must have an Australian Driver's License
  • A friendly, team oriented and positive attitude
  • Good organisation skills
