AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now preparing to ramp up operations at our high grade Blue Spec gold and antimony project.

As we commence our underground operations, we are looking for an Underground Mine Surveyor to deliver critical day-to-day survey support to our mining operations.

About the role

As an Underground Mine Surveyor, you will carry out critical underground survey tasks that support day-to-day mining operations. Your accurate and timely spatial data will help ensure safe, compliant and efficient production.

This role is offered on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pickups and mark-ups for development and production.
  • Set out underground workings per mine designs.
  • Conduct CMS scans and maintain accurate survey control points.
  • Maintain and update the digital survey database and mine plans.
  • Operate total stations, laser scanners, GPS, and related equipment.
  • Process data using industry software (Deswik, Surpac).
  • Support end-of-month reporting and compliance plans.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to meet site requirements.
  • Assist in mentoring junior surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture in all survey tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying, Mining Engineering or related field
  • Previous underground survey experience in a mining environment
  • Familiarity with relevant software and survey hardware
  • Strong attention to detail and spatial accuracy
