Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Underground Surveyor, based in Rothsay, Western Australia. The Underground Surveyor will be responsible for delivering precise survey data to ensure proper alignment with mining plans. Key day-to-day tasks include conducting underground surveys, mapping, and reporting, maintaining survey equipment, ensuring compliance with mine design specifications, and collaborating with engineers, geologists, and other team members to deliver accurate and efficient surveying solutions. Adherence to safety and regulatory standards will be imperative in all aspects of work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in underground survey techniques, equipment usage, and mine mapping.
• Strong ability in data analysis, technical reporting, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a mining environment.
• Working knowledge of surveying software and technologies, including CAD tools, is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications and a degree or diploma in Surveying, Geospatial Science, or a similar field.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with mining regulations and standards.
• Previous experience in underground or mining survey work is preferred.
