We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic applicants for the following roles:

  1. Junior School Teacher - Year 5 & 6 Mathematics & Science - Full Time Continuing, commencing Term 1 2026
  2. Junior School Teacher - Year 5 & 6 Mathematics & Science - 12 Month contract (covering Parental Leave), commencing Term 1 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a St Patrick's College Junior School Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students in Years 5–6

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and academic growth

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative learning programs aligned with the curriculum

  • Use data and assessment to inform teaching practice and support individual learning needs

  • Contribute to the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities and events

ABOUT YOU

  • A qualified teacher with Queensland Teacher Registration

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised by Queensland College of Teachers

  • Passionate about teaching Mathematics and Science

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Curriculum for Years 5-6, particularly Mathematics and Science learning areas

  • Skilled in building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

  • Committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
