With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, SKG Services is entering an exciting period of growth. We're currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Human Resources Coordinator to join our People & Culture team.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, full-time position based in our Miranda office. You will play a key role in supporting HR operations across the organisation and ensuring best practice delivery of human resource services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing HR administration and coordination support to the People & Culture team
  • Responding to internal and external HR inquiries and requests
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process including:

  • Sourcing candidates

  • Conducting reference and background checks
  • Assisting with shortlisting
  • Preparing employment contracts
  • Supporting the Group Human Resources People & Culture General Manager with strategic initiatives
  • Assisting with annual award increases, performance reviews, and staff recognition programs
  • Coordinating employee training and induction processes
  • Supporting ad hoc HR functions and contributing to team projects as needed
About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident, approachable, and committed to best practice.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HR or a related administrative function
  • Strong understanding of general HR practices and employment-related legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a personable and professional approach
  • Ability to collaborate with managers and provide sound HR advice
  • Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and empathy in dealing with sensitive employee matters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong literacy and written communication skills
  • Experience in the service industry (preferred)
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Project and change management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
