Perth, Western Australia Carpet Call – WA Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Carpet Call, Australia's largest flooring retailer has been established for over 50 years and successfully runs a network of retail & franchise stores in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, along with a national builders' division catering to some of the largest home builders in Australia.  We are currently looking for a passionate full time Receptionist to join our dynamic team and be based in our office/warehouse complex in Balcatta. You will report directly to the State Accountant WA.  

What you'll be doing

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, promptly and courteously
  • Greeting and welcome customers entering our showroom
  • Building Relationship - Foster positive relationships with customers and different departments, understand their needs
  • Assisting the Finance & Builders team with administrative tasks such as data entry
  • Stock Take - be part of the team to preform monthly half day stock take at head office warehouse
  • Other ac hoc tasks as requested

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, preferably within the building or customer service industry
  • Strong communicator with ability to build relationships across the organisation.
  • Work with common sense; Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to priorities and work through multiple tasks
  • Positive, proactive and "can-do" attitude
  • Willingness to learn & to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
