About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

We are looking for a Dietitian to provide patient centred and high-quality nutrition services to patients as required to services across NSW including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development.

Where you'll be working

The Dietitian workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years clinical experience.
  • Provide examples of your clinical experience and knowledge of current dietetics practices.
  • Tell us about your ability to work independently and as part of the team.
  • Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
