About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to provide professional and high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in a range of clinical areas and settings as required throughout NSW. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment, and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

Where you'll be working

The Physiotherapist workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:

  • Current Physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) and evidence of clinical experience to meet the criteria for Level 2 Physiotherapist as per the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award.
  • Provide examples of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experience.
  • Tell us about your ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
