Our new Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) are an even smarter and easier way to fulfil online orders and deliver the smiles for our customers. And you could get involved. Your role, no matter where you are at a CFC, will have a direct contribution to every customer's order. How good is that
It will be a new environment that will combine technology with teamwork to create a safe place where everyone feels welcome. Thorough training and support from our leadership teams will ensure you're confident in your new role. Whether it's a foot in the door, flexible work hours or the foundations of a stable role, a Coles CFC has what you're looking for.
About the roleA CFC Team Member plays an important role in the flow of products moving through the CFC into a customer's bag. So, what does it take? A keen eye for detail and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
The workstations throughout a CFC vary across ambient, chilled and freezer environments and can include decanting items to go into the hive, to packing a customer's order into bags.
Behind every individual contribution is a team-first approach all the way. This means you'll be backed by supportive leaders who want to see you thrive. And underpinning this caring culture is technology unique to this centre, which reduces some of the heavy lifting that may be required in the role.
Responsibilities include:- Bagging - Putting bags into totes ready to be packed
- Dekit - Managing empty totes to go back into the hive
- Tote Washing - Inspecting and cleaning totes
- Decanting - Removing stock from packaging to go into the hive. Across ambient, chilled and freezer stations
- Picking - Picking and packing customer orders across ambient, chilled and freezer stations
- Frame Loading - Managing frames. This includes loading totes onto frames and moving frames into positions
- Loading - Moving full frames onto delivery van and removing empty frames
- Demonstrate a focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement
- Possess a strong eye for detail and accuracy
- Displace strong team skills with a willingness to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays and during our busy peak periods is essential
- You'll need to be comfortable working on your own and following set instructions
- To be active – you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
- Opportunity: Get your foot in the door and grow with a new side of the business that's focused on the future.
- Flexibility: With longer hours of operation, we can offer a variety of shifts which means you'll find the flexible hours you need.
- Community: Our team leaders are excited about building on the community spirit inside and outside of the CFC with diverse teams delivering a great online shopping experience to people in the area.
- Discounts: You'll receive discounts across all our Coles brands (supermarkets, liquor and online), and for a huge variety of other partner retailers: sporting/entertainment, technology, getaways, healthcare and more. We double your discount for 70 days of the year at times that it matters most like summer holidays.
- Onsite perks: We offer free parking, an onsite canteen serving a variety of delicious meals at budget-friendly prices, BBQ areas and more.
Don't feel like you meet every requirement? We'd love to receive your application if most of your experience matches, and you think you'll thrive in this role.
We're continuing to build a gender equitable team, and a culture that is just as diverse, inclusive and welcoming as the communities we serve. We are committed to creating a workplace that is safe and respectful for our team. We encourage applications from people of all ages, cultures (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples), abilities, sexual orientation and gender identities.
We're happy to adjust our recruitment process to support candidates with disability. For further information and additional contact details visit the 'Our Recruitment Process' section of our careers site or email
