About the role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Granny Flats WA in Booragoon, WA. As a Carpenter - Second Fix and Maintenance, you will be responsible for the final stages of construction and ongoing maintenance of our high-quality granny flats and residential projects. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work for an industry-leading company.

What you'll be doing

  • Completing second fix carpentry tasks, such as installing trim, skirting boards, architraves, and door hardware
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on existing granny flats and residential properties
  • Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any carpentry-related issues that arise on site
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the business

What we're looking for

  • Formal carpentry qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Carpentry)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a carpenter, with a focus on second fix and maintenance work
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current driver's licence
