The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Carpenter with solid experience in building maintenance and repair works. This role is best suited to a professional tradesman who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, can work independently, and enjoys the variety that comes with servicing a wide client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry, building maintenance, and repair tasks across multiple sites
  • Deliver high-quality work in line with safety standards and client expectations
  • Manage your daily work schedule using our digital job management system
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, representing Orixon professionally
  • Source and purchase required materials while maintaining cost control
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
  • Standard Monday–Friday hours, with optional weekend/overtime work (paid at higher rates)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Demonstrated experience in building maintenance and carpentry
  • Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
  • Construction White Card
  • Current 'A' Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to safe work practices
