Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, develop and implement the marketing plan for Taubmans and PPG Paints within retail channel to achieve Net Sales results, share targets and profitability of the category developed.
  • Develop and implement promotion and advertising activities for Taubmans targeted toward the retail / DIY audience.
  • Review sales and performance category regularly, recommending changes in pricing and product mix.
  • Collaborate with local and global R&D teams to identify new product opportunities aligning with the Business Strategy.
  • Be the brand custodian for the Taubmans Masterbrand by ensuring brand governance and consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Consult with sales, operations, and finance to ensure effective launches and profitable marketing.
  • Monitor and control marketing expenditure, conduct financial analysis, and review brand/product performance.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification within either Marketing/Commerce/Business is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years marketing or brand management experience within a high volume FMCG company, or related hardware category business, with proven record of achievement.
  • Comfortable with all marketing disciplines including working closely with creative, design, digital & media agencies to develop outstanding advertising creative and media programs.
  • Solid commercial understanding and experience including insight into competitor and retailer strategies and activity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and influence stakeholders
