We're looking for a talented Food Technologist – Beverage Application to join our dynamic team and help drive the development of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages — from concept to commercialisation.

About the Role

As a Food Technologist – Beverage Application, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, turning creative ideas into commercially viable products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers, managing every stage of the product development process — from initial concept, lab trials, and stability testing, to customer presentations and factory scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new product development from concept through to launch
  • Conduct benchwork, factory trials, and customer tastings
  • Research and test new ingredients, improve existing formulas, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Deliver proactive, end-to-end presentations to customers
  • Reformulate current products to enhance quality, taste, and cost-efficiency
  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, QA, Production, and more
  • Provide technical support to Key Account Managers and customers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Food Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in NPD (beverage experience required; flavour house or QC background a plus)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills
  • Creative, organised, and solutions-focused with a passion for innovation
  • Team player with a structured approach and can-do attitude
