Our Client

Our client is an Australian success story with diversified interests in the services and industrial space and a passion for innovation. With market-leading technology, our client has huge growth plans and is now looking for a Legal Counsel with expertise in Employment/IR Law to join the thriving in-house team.

The Roles

There is an exciting opportunity for an Employment Law specialist to join an in-house team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the businesses strategy and vision through the provision of expert legal advice in employment relations and industrial relations matters to the legal team and HR, and include:-

  • Advising on employment disputes relating to the termination of employment, unfair dismissal claims, post-employment restraints, redundancy advice, and contractor agreements.
  • Provision of legal support to negotiate and draft enterprise bargaining agreements.
  • Supporting the P&C lead in the strategic bargaining space through the creation of benchmarking, trend assessment and comparative analysis.

Full PD available on request to suitable candidates. The business will consider 3-8+PQE as well as more senior candidates looking for 4 days a week – so don't count yourself out
