Part of the group, Robert Plumb Fix, is a premium building company specialising in delivering comprehensive high-end renovations and additions in the residential sector. We manage the entire building process in close collaboration with leading architects and interior designers. Our team of experienced Carpenters play a vital role in the successful delivery and completion of each project, with a solid understanding of building principles, architectural details, and site set-out.

About the role

We are seeking a Special Works Foreman to join our team, focusing on smaller, bespoke jobs within completed homes. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Carpenter who enjoys working independently or in a small team.  This position is ideal for someone with a well-rounded skill set, a keen eye for detail, and a polished client-facing presence, looking to step away from large construction site. Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with clients and Project Managers
  • Present professionally in finished homes
  • Work independently or alongside others
  • Deliver high-quality, detailed carpentry and general building work
  • Manage minor trades where required
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

About you

  • Significant experience as a Site Foreman or Carpenter working on high end residential builds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Comfortable working in finished homes
  • Capable of managing small scale projects and coordinating minor trades
  • Team player with a proactive attitude

Qualifications/Certificates

  • Cert III Carpentry
  • White card
