Our Federal Government Client is seeking an ICT Solutions Architect
This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of 12 months with possible extensions, located at our client's Canberra office with hybrid working arrangements available.

As The Selected Candidate, You Will

  • Coordinate Cyber Domain assurance aligned with the client and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology governance policies, processes, and controls
  • Provide expert advisory to senior leadership on technology risks, compliance, and assurance
  • Foster collaboration across teams to embed assurance practices into project lifecycles
  • Monitor compliance with policies, laws, and standards
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure findings are addressed
  • Support IT compliance programs with monitoring and reporting
  • Identify, assess, and track cyber, operational, and third-party technology risks
  • Oversee incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are actioned
  • Support seamless transition of ICT capabilities into operations
  • Collaborate to define acceptance criteria and readiness assessments
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and performance metrics
  • Contribute to architecture artefacts

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

  • Strong experience in technology governance, assurance, and cyber risk management
  • Proven track record supporting audit and compliance initiatives
  • Ability to contribute to and review architecture artefacts
  • Experience in transitioning ICT projects into operations
  • Ability to provide high-level strategic advice to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
