Job Description:
The Solution Architect will be a senior-level resource with deep expertise in Solution Design using UiPath technologies, including Document Understanding (DU), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Test Automation. The role is suited for experienced senior developers who have progressed into a lead/architect capacity and are comfortable engaging directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical leadership, and deliver solutions.
The role will require hands-on involvement from time to time, depending on client needs. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to guide and mentor developers while driving solution outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Specified personnel will be responsible for the following deliverables and activities, including but not limited to:
- Lead the end-to-end solution design process for automation initiatives using UiPath.
- Engage with clients to articulate technical solutions, gather requirements, and provide strategic input.
- Translate business workflows into technical designs, including creation of Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure successful delivery of automation solutions and alignment to design specifications.
- Offer hands-on development support as required, particularly for complex automation components or performance tuning.
- Support solution deployment, testing, and production rollout processes.
- Implement best practices for security, exception handling, and compliance with quality standards.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Support ongoing optimisation and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
Desirable skills:
- UiPath Solution Architect or Advanced RPA Developer certification.
- Practical experience with UiPath DU, and/or Test Suite.
- Proven ability to lead design workshops and client-facing discussions.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and secure ICT frameworks.
