Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Lead Group Full time

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering tailored safety solutions?

We are seeking a Safety Specialist / Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join an innovative and fast-growing Australian safety solutions business. This role combines autonomy, sales leadership, and real career progression — with uncapped commissions, a tech-forward environment, and clear pathways into leadership.

About the Business Our client is a 100% Australian-owned specialist in safety equipment and workplace protection solutions. They provide a comprehensive range of high-quality PPE, site safety equipment, and protective apparel — from head, eye and respiratory protection to height safety, workplace signage and more — across multiple industries. URSafeRite+1

Built on exceptional customer service and technical product knowledge, the business partners with organisations to ensure compliant, safe, and productive workplaces.

The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, this field-based role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on autonomy, building strong customer relationships, and solving real safety challenges.

You will manage your own sales territory and portfolio of accounts while progressively transitioning smaller accounts to the internal team as you focus on high-value customer growth.

This is a key growth role — with significant opportunity to evolve into a leadership position as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth across a defined territory by selling safety products and solutions into end users, including manufacturing, defence, construction, mining, and healthcare
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and act as a trusted safety solutions advisor
  • Understand customer safety requirements and tailor comprehensive solutions from the product portfolio
  • Manage your own accounts and pipeline, with autonomy to prioritise high potential opportunities
  • Prospect and convert new business while retaining and growing existing accounts
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, account insights, and activity updates to leadership
  • Represent the business professionally at customer sites, industry events, and client meetings
  • Embrace technology and CRM systems to enhance customer engagement and data quality

Who We're Looking For

  • Proven sales success, ideally in safety products, PPE, industrial supplies, or related technical sales
  • Experience engaging with organisations in manufacturing, mining, construction, defence, healthcare, or similar sectors
  • A driven, self-motivated individual who enjoys being on the road, building deep customer relationships, and closing business
  • Strong communication skills — able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline and territory
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with commercial awareness and professionalism
  • Full Australian work rights

What's on Offer

  • Aggressive uncapped commission structure based on account revenue — strong performers will be rewarded
  • Competitive base salary (flexible and negotiable) based on experience and network
  • Car allowance and support for travel across your territory
  • Immediate opportunity with a portfolio of accounts to develop
  • A modern sales environment with tech-enabled systems, no clunky CRM or outdated processes
  • Leadership pathway — this role is earmarked for growth into a senior commercial or management position as the business scales
  • Superannuation and standard employee benefits
