We are Smart Energy. Starting with just two blokes in a warehouse in Byron Bay, we have grown to have 20 Sales offices Nationwide, all within just eight years. We take great pride in our range of products, from solar panels to batteries to carbon-neutral energy, hot water Heat heat pumps, EV Chargers and virtual power plants, which have put us at the forefront of the industry.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative gun to join our award winning team to support our growing customer base, within our inbound department.
Initially, this position will be casual, full-time hours based in our Byron Bay office, but it has the potential to become full-time permanent for the right candidate with endless progression opportunities.
Our Customer Success Representatives are the heartbeat of that mission. You're the friendly voice that guides our customers every step of the way - from their very first installation update to ensuring they're saving big on their energy bills.

What You'll Be Doing
- Helping customers solve tricky issues (in a non-technical, friendly way) via phone, email, and live chat
- Guiding customers to get the most from their solar and battery savings
- Keeping customers updated on installation progress and maintenance schedules
- Coordinating with our tech and install teams to make sure everything runs smoothly
- Continuously improving our self-service resources and knowledge base
- Collaborating with our legendary Sales team to ensure customer happiness every step of the way
You'll Work Closely With
- Our Sales, Installations, Tech Support, Operations, and Marketing teams internally
- Homeowners, installers, and energy providers externally — making sure everyone's in the loop
What You Bring
- 1+ years' experience in customer service, client support, or account coordination.
- Confidence using CRM systems (Salesforce experience = bonus points)
- Strong communication and empathy - you keep calm and genuinely care
- Excellent organisation skills with a proactive, "can-do" mindset
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability
- (Bonus) Experience in solar, utilities, or home services
