Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Business Support Officer - SES, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Senior Business Support Officer - SES you will coordinate the admin processes supporting operations for the Moreton Bay SES Unit, including responsibility for business improvement and efficiency processes, and developing and reviewing processes focused on the fleet replacement program and facilities upgrades. You'll also

  • Plan and conduct audits and compliance checks
  • Coordinate and deliver admin processes to support the recruitment of new SES volunteers
  • Research and source external funding for SES activities
  • Prepare and deliver purchase orders, process tax invoices, manage reconciliation of corporate credit card, process financial claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including SES volunteers, community groups, and government departments to support the achievement of quality outcomes within the Moreton Bay SES Unit
  • Fulfil duties in council's Local Disaster Coordination Centre and any overtime as required.

About you

We're looking for your experience or knowledge related to disaster and emergency management operations, as well as strong admin skills organisational and time management skills.

You'll bring great people and relationship skills with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service, and your experience as a volunteer or within a fast-paced volunteer environment will set you up for success.
