Role- Monitoring Observability Engineer (Dynatrace & ELK)

Type- Permanent

Location- Sydney

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, implementation, support and maintenance of Dynatrace SaaS & ELK Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana Stack for enterprise-scale log management and analytics.

  2. Drive creation of centralized dashboards in Kibana to monitor production applications.

  3. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver dashboards offering actionable business and technical insights.

  4. Guide integration of log sources, data ingestion automation, and pipeline optimization.

  5. Troubleshoot complex Dynatrace SaaS & ELK Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana issues and ensure high system reliability.

  6. Mentor and upskill team members in observability best practices.

  7. Define observability standards and drive adoption across the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive hands-on experience and deep expertise with Dynatrace SaaS & ELK Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana Stack.

  2. Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and scripting (Python, Bash, etc. ).

  3. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  4. Proven leadership and team mentoring skills.

  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
