Position Overview
To support the APAC team's growth and transformation, we are looking for a
Partner Development Manager
to acquire, manage and optimize relationships with channel partners to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services.
This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of Pendo's capabilities, partner firms and the diverse needs of clients. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive excellence in revenue GTM initiatives, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and overall channel growth and program success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on impacting revenue and brand awareness. The person must be motivated with a passion for relationship building. The candidate will own key partner initiatives and must be able to plan and articulate activities required to meet the initiative goals.
Role Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with Channel partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client satisfaction.
- Act as the main point of contact for partner communication, issue resolution, and strategic planning.
- Develop joint marketing campaigns & events with our partner ecosystem
- Partner means Direct Reseller, Service Partner/Systems Integrator, Cloud Partner, etc who can collaboratively work with Pendo.
- Develop and implement partner enablement and training plans to enhance partners' skills, capabilities, and understanding of the organization's products and services.
- Monitor client satisfaction and feedback throughout the project lifecycle, addressing concerns and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Building solid process including key information such as MEDDIC & BANT for Deal Registration from Direct Resellers
- Find & Develop pipeline for the broader Pendo APAC sales team
- Execute Quarterly Business Review with executive sponsors in the partners, centering on collaborative business targets and progression as well as help needed.
- Provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders and partners on project performance and areas for enhancement.
- Lead and involve Partner as a part of shadowing in case of Pendo driven lead generation
Minimum Qualifications
- An understanding of SaaS business models and strong business acumen
- 5 years+ experiences in Partner Development or equivalent experience, preferably within the enterprise software industry, particularly in areas such as cloud or saas.
Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships and alliances at an enterprise level.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective communication and presentation abilities to articulate partnership value propositions and influence stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position, working 3 days per week from our office in Sydney. We are not able to consider this to be a remote position at this time.
