The Opportunity

The Marketing Assistant will play a hands-on role in supporting the Marketing Manager and wider team to deliver national and local marketing activities.

This position is ideal for an individual with strong customer service skills and experience in the design and print industry, who can effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. While formal marketing training isn't essential, you will need to be a quick learner with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for helping people.

What You'll Be Doing

Franchisee & Customer Support

  • Be the first point of contact for the Marketing Support Desk.
  • Support franchisees with local marketing needs and artwork reviews.
  • Help create and prepare marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials.

Design & Production Support

  • Prepare and check artwork files for print and packaging.
  • Support the creation of print, digital, and signage assets.
  • Liaise with suppliers for promotional products, giveaways, and event collateral.

Campaign & Event Coordination

  • Assist with logistics for events and campaigns.
  • Coordinate orders, deliveries, and prize draws.
  • Upload content and prepare toolkits for national campaigns.

Systems & Administration

  • Manage requests through PrintSpeak, CRM, and marketing tools.
  • Track budgets, supplier quotes, and reporting in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Keep records organised and projects on track.

Innovation & Growth

  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and boost productivity.
  • Explore tools like AI to streamline routine tasks.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer service role with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Exposure to the design and print industry, with an understanding of preparing artwork for production.
  • Highly organised, with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Competence with Google Sheets/Excel and confidence working with numbers (budgets, quotes, orders).
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a print or franchise environment (Kwik Kopy, Snap, MBE, Worldwide, or similar).
  • Trained in Graphic Design.
  • Exposure to CRM, marketing, or workflow systems (e.g., PrintSpeak, HubSpot).
  • Experience in event coordination, promotions, or hospitality.
  • Interest in using AI or digital tools to improve efficiency.
