You will be at the heart of a dedicated team of industry experts who value collaboration and knowledge sharing.Our values are at the heart of what makes us different.People-Centric – We have a fun and flexible team cultureExcellence – We are at the forefront of engineering excellence, committed to achieving the best outcomesCuriosity – We celebrate innovation and encourage ourselves to think like there is no boxStewardship – We take on our clients' projects as if they were our own, delivering practical and well-balanced solutionsJob DescriptionTHE ROLEDesign of a wide range of structures in accordance with the XK standardsComplete designs with the project drafterCoordinate minor design requirements with the consultant's teamChecking the design and documentationCarrying out site inspections of projectsCarrying out site visits to assist in the design processLiaising with builders, other consultants and clientsRepresenting XK, you will manage and develop valuable relationships with project partners, including architects, consultants, project managers and builders.As a Graduate, you have a demonstrated experience in the following:Understanding of structural design principles and their application to engineering design and constructionExperience in using design software preferred but not essential (ETABS, SAFE and Bentley Structural Enterprise software)Coordinate minor design requirements with the consultant teamUnderstand the scope of work and timelines to achieve project deliverablesStrong analytical skills to develop effective and innovative solutionsThe ability to manage your workload to achieve project deliverableDesired Skills and ExperienceABOUT YOUTeam player with great energy and passion for structural engineeringBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMembership with Engineers Australia an advantagePrevious exposure to engineering would be advantageousDesire to build your career in a supportive, progressive organisationHigh attention to detail and motivation towards furthering your technical skillsYou will be an excellent communicator with a passion for continuous learning and developmentLove to engage with others to build positive and long-lasting relationships
