This Life Psychology offers psychological and counselling services in Ringwood and surrounding suburbs. Our psychologists provide personalised, compassionate therapy tailored to individual needs. We work collaboratively with clients to bring about meaningful change, increase well-being, and improve overall satisfaction with life. In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of high-prevalence conditions, we have a special interest in the treatment of Eating Disorders, Body Image, & OCD. We are also supportive of mental health professionals who may have a developed special interest area or wish to develop their own niche.

Role Description

We offer
permanent/part-time roles or individual contractor positions on-site
with the possibility of hybrid

for a psychologist, or mental health qualified occupational therapist, or social worker at This Life Psychology in Ringwood East. We welcome applications from provisional psychologists. The Mental Health Professional will conduct psychological assessments (within their competency), provide counselling and therapy, and collaborate with clients to address specific challenges and promote positive change.

Qualifications

  • AHPRA Registration - Hold provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRA (or have their application submitted)
  • Psychology and Counseling skills
  • Experience in Mental Health and Psychological Assessment
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based treatment and relevant therapeutic approaches
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and
  • Have a Medicare provider number or the ability to register (not required for provisional psychologist positions)
  • Independent contractors are required to have their own ABN
