1 day per week (Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays) | $75–$85/hr negotiable | Patient referrals guaranteed

About Us

We are a small, community-focused GP clinic that has secured funding through the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN) 
GP Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Program
. This initiative expands access to allied health for patients with chronic conditions, mental health needs, and complex care requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated 
Psychologist
 to join our practice 
one day per week (choice of Monday, Wednesday or Friday)
. In this role, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with GPs and practice staff as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide accessible, bulk-billed mental health services to patients
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Developing individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client
  • Maintaining detailed client records and providing regular progress reports to the PHN

What we're looking for

  1. Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Psychologist, preferably in a community or healthcare setting
  3. Demonstrated expertise in the assessment and treatment of a range of mental health conditions
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop tailored treatment plans
  6. Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices
