In response to the growing demand for Third Party Risk Management services, we are looking to hire client-facing problem solvers to join our team in Sydney. If you're passionate about helping organisations manage third-party risks and want to work with market-leading solutions that make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Our Risk and Regulatory team works with C-suite leaders to improve efficiency and enhance risk capabilities. We provide insights on regulatory and compliance challenges across supply chains, sustainability, technology, workplace integrity, health, data risk, national security and more. With Deloitte's global expertise, we help clients strengthen their ability to act with confidence.
What will your typical day look like?
We are looking for a Senior Analyst with a minimum of 3 years' in-house experience in risk, legal, or in a business analyst / consulting role. While direct experience in all areas is not required, we value a strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability and a passion for third party risk management.
In this role, you will:
- Support a range of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) engagements while shaping your own career path and specialisation.
- Assist clients in implementing Third Party Risk Management frameworks.
- Assess the impact of new and existing regulations on how third parties are managed.
- Explore automation and technology-driven solutions for Third Party Risk Management.
- Support workshops and stakeholder discussions on third-party policies and processes.
- Contribute to best practices for third-party monitoring and measurement.
- Help design and refine third-party risk segmentation models across risk domains.
- Build trusted client relationships and collaborate across Deloitte's business units.
- Work with senior leaders at some of Australia's largest organisations, delivering value-driven solutions.
- Support team members in their professional growth.
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
We're looking for individuals who are eager to make an impact, even if they don't tick every box. If you have at least 3 years of in-house experience in risk, legal or consulting and are keen to grow in this space, we encourage you to apply. You may have all or some of the following skills and experiences:
Advisory Skills
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how large organisations operate.
- A passion for problem-solving and delivering meaningful client outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Comfort working in a digitally enabled environment, leveraging data visualisation and digital tools.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to client needs in real time.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations to provide practical solutions.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders in collaborative discussions.
- Project management skills, including planning, execution, and visibility of project status.
- A desire to share knowledge and contribute to team development.
Technical Skills
- Experience or exposure to third-party operational risk management.
- Understanding of third-party frameworks, policies, and processes.
- Familiarity with third-party lifecycle management (onboarding, contracting, offboarding).
- Exposure to third party relevant regulatory, assurance, or compliance areas (e.g., CPS 230, SOCI, environmental regulations, Modern Slavery, Sanctions Regime, CPS 234, Privacy Act).
- Experience in operational risk management, governance, or incident management.
- Awareness of how organisations navigate change, including technology and social value considerations.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
- Interest in broader risk areas, including cyber, sustainability, and governance frameworks.
