About the Centre/Service

Park Orchards Kindergarten is located in a beautiful bush setting and provides children with opportunities to explore and develop through a play-based program. We have strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, staff and wider community. Our Kindergarten is run by a dedicated Committee of Management. The staff are passionate about the education and care of children and are seeking a highly organised administration "superstar" who will support the team with day-to-day operations, enrolment processes, policies, parent communications, compliance documentation, and keeping our vibrant learning community thriving behind the scenes. Park Orchards Kindergarten is a child-safe employer.

Description

The position is for a Diploma or Certificate III (ECEC) Educator, working Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. The successful applicant will -

  • be passionate about early childhood education
  • have a sound understanding of child development and the VEYLDF/EYLF
  • have excellent organisational and communication skills with children, families, staff, committee and members of the community
  • work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Kindergarten (QIP)
  • demonstrate knowledge of child-safe practice
  • conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Kindergarten policies and the Kindergarten Funding Guide
  • be committed to ongoing professional learning and development

Qualifications

The successful applicant will also hold -

  • a Diploma ECEC or Certificate III ECEC
  • a current employee Working with Children Check
  • a current Police Check
  • current First Aid qualifications (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management)
  • Mandatory Reporting training (minimum Victorian Government e-Learning module)
