About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior CRM Developer to join a government department on a contract basis. This role will focus on the delivery of customised Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to meet evolving business needs. Working within a small, collaborative team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and developing sustainable CRM solutions, undertaking data transformations, and providing technical expertise on solution implementation.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and clarify solution requirements.
  • Translate conceptual, logical, and physical solutions into actionable work packages.
  • Develop estimates for effort required on deliverables.
  • Undertake configuration and customisation in Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Provide technical expertise on implementation risks and operational challenges.
  • Develop and customise workflows, plug-ins, and portals within Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Support data migration activities and integration with other platforms.
  • Produce high-quality system and support documentation in line with operational best practice.
  • Contribute to solution development using Agile methodology.

Highly desirable criteria

  • Proven experience working on large and complex development projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Strong experience in ASP.Net, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating Dynamics 365 CRM with other systems.
  • Hands-on experience in developing custom workflows, plug-ins, and portal customisations.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data migration.
  • Strong Agile development experience.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in developing custom integration solutions with third-party vendors.
  • Familiarity with quality management frameworks for documentation and operational practices.
  • Previous experience within a government or large enterprise environment.

Skills and experience

  • Proficiency with Visual Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM functionality and customisation.
  • Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative team-player with the confidence to provide advice, share knowledge, and challenge requests when appropriate.
