From our Sydney CBD headquarters, we champion innovation, sustainability, and customer focus — and we're looking for a strategic thinker to help us navigate the complex world of government relations.

  • Advising on policy developments and their impact on SunRice's operations and strategic direction.
  • Supporting advocacy efforts on key issues including the NSW Government's reviews on vesting and export agreements.
  • Developing policy positions that support the long-term sustainability of the Australian rice industry.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to align messaging and influence outcomes.

About You

  • A tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in government, corporate affairs, or media engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
