ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
- Deliver up to 4 Shichida classes per day to children from 0 to 9 years old
- Lead children and parents through a range of engaging activities in accordance with the curriculum
- Positively influence children's learning and development
- Actively liaise and partner with parents to support their children's learning journey
- Prepare materials for class use
- Connect with current and prospective parents about the program on the phone or face-to-face
- Represent Shichida values and provide excellent customer experience to our families
- Assist with general office operations as and when required
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrated passion for working with children
- An understanding and appreciation of the importance of the early education system
- Demonstrated initiative and drive to contribute to a growing organisation
- Ability to work independently, inter-dependently and collaboratively
- Proven behavioural management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
- Work hours: 4 weekdays (8:30am – 5:30pm); and Saturdays (8:30am-5:30pm)
- Location: Burwood
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- The right to work in Australia without restriction: citizen or permanent resident
- Prior experience working with children (highly advantageous)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- A bachelor's degree preferred
- Whilst tertiary degree and experience in early childhood/childhood development are highly advantageous, we also believe that paper qualifications are not the only indication of the added value you can bring to our team. If you meet our KSC but do not have the qualifications, you can still apply
