Braemac, is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Field Applications Engineer to join our Test & Measurement Group in Sydney supporting Hardware and Software products from some of the world's leading suppliers including, but not limited to NI (National Instruments), Digilent, TMYTEK, Spirent, Honeywell and Opal-RT.

The ideal candidate will be able to quickly respond and support our Sales team with their customer's Pre-Sales and Post-Sales technical issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide Pre-sales support to Field Sales Engineers & Customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to existing and new customers.
  • Prepare and conduct "Lunch & Learn" sessions at customer sites.
  • Contribute to Technology Days, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with technical sales engineers and product specialists from our suppliers to provide solutions and address customers' technical requirements.
  • Provide Post-sales support to customers in Australia, New Zealand and ASEAN countries.
  • Establish and manage technical relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders and become the go-to expert for all of the technical inquiries and support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in the Test & Measurement Industry.
  • Some experience with NI Software and Hardware.
  • Previous experience in a Technical Support role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Superb client-facing skills and radiate enthusiasm, high energy, poise, and confidence.
