About the job

Catholic Homes is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our Home Care team servicing the Perth Metro area.

Our Home Care team builds lasting relationships with our clients so they may stay at home or get out into the community to do the things they enjoy.

The successful candidate with have the support from the Home Care team.

Key responsibilities

Designs activities and programs in line with clients' preferences and choice:

  • Assessments of Clients' needs to maintain or improve levels of physical function
  • Coordinates physiotherapy programs for clients and ongoing evaluation of those programs
  • Uses advanced clinical knowledge and skills to perform assessment of clients with more complex problems
  • Provides appropriate supervision, direction and support to physiotherapy support staff and other personnel supporting the client
  • Formulates treatment objectives, therapeutic programs and regularly evaluates the effectiveness of objectives and programs
  • Participates in Client Care planning meetings as appropriate.
  • Liaises with community agencies as appropriate

To be successful in this role you will have/be

  • A Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A genuine interest in improving the quality of life for our clients
  • A roadworthy and registered vehicle and current driver's licence
  • Experience working in Aged Care (desirable)
