As an Internal Sales Representative at Apex Display, your role is pivotal in maintaining customer relationships and driving sales growth. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating and managing leads, understanding customer needs, and effectively promoting Apex Display's products and services. With a large database of potential customers, a key part of your role will involve educating them on our offerings and converting them into buyers. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with our team members in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Skills / characteristics you will need

  • Personable and clearly spoken in English
  • Fanatical attention to detail and accuracy (including grammar & spelling)
  • Confident with business software including Microsoft Office, CRM & ERP software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong, proactive work ethic, organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving & team collaboration skills

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in Internal Sales or higher sales roles
  • Own vehicle / Reliable transport to and from work
  • Formal sales training a bonus

Tasks & responsibilities

·       Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing enquiries promptly, and going the extra mile to guarantee a stellar customer experience – before, during and after the sale.

·       Account Nurturing: Proactively engage with existing customers by phone, email and other methods to deepen relationships, understand their evolving needs, educate them on our offering, and explore opportunities to grow their accounts.

·       Customer Onboarding: Proactively research, identify and pursue potential customers through various channels to generate new business.

·       Sales Activity Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in CRM and ERP software.

·       Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and present compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations and proposals to showcase the value of Apex Display's offerings. Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve targets.

·       Sales Targets: Work diligently to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.

·       Team Collaboration: We are a team – we thrive together Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate efforts, share market insights, and ensure seamless customer experiences that deliver maximum value. Assist with customer enquiries, order processing, and administrative tasks when needed.

·       Product and Market Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Apex Display's offering, features, and benefits. Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

·       Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training and professional development to enhance product knowledge, customer service and sales skills. Share insights and experience to assist in the growth of other team members.
