We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Handy person to join a high-performing facilities team across a large, premium commercial precinct in Canberra. This is a permanent, full-time position with plenty of variety and scope for someone who enjoys hands-on work and great customer interaction.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing responsive and professional customer service to tenants and visitors
  • Performing general maintenance and caretaking duties across commercial buildings and grounds
  • Minor repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, patchwork and cleaning
  • Supervising external contractors and assisting with scheduled works
  • Maintaining site presentation and cleanliness

What we're looking for:

  • Trade qualification in carpentry (highly desirable) or strong handy person/maintenance experience
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Well-presented, professional, and able to work autonomously
  • Current driver's licence
  • Computer literacy - able to use email, Word/Excel, etc.
