Handyperson

Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a Full-time Handyperson to grow a great team. As an essential member of our maintenance team, you'll be maintaining everything in working order and looking great ranging from minor fixes to forward thinking for the next day. This role would suit someone who loves fixing things and has a great customer service attitude.

**A little taste of your day to day**
- Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance supervisor or Team Leader and other directives to meet guest requirement
- Have high safety standard - follow all work, health and safety guidelines
- Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order
- Carry duty phone and respond to requests from departments and guests regarding maintenance issues throughout the day
- Carry out regular and preventative maintenance on the hotel's equipment and facilities to make sure they run well.

**What We need from you**:

- Ability to work in a team and a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads, as well as assist in supporting the team with other duties as required
- Excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards
- Flexibility - working weekends and public holidays are all part of the job
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Skills including minor plumbing, tiling, painting and similar related to building maintenance would be benefit
- You must have working rights in Australia
