This is a high-impact sales role designed for someone who thrives in enterprise mobility. You'll be at the cutting edge of Optus's growth strategy, working alongside our most innovative customers to design solutions that unlock new ways of working.
Reporting to Managing Director, the Business Development Executive will need to be highly motivated, energetic with a can-do attitude to exceed business targets and execute strategies to grow market share across the portfolio.

What you'll do
Win new enterprise business** through disciplined prospecting, whitespace engagement and C-level relationship management.
Design and deliver sales strategies** across Optus's enterprise suite — including Mobile Enterprise Management, Enterprise Fleets, Managed Private Networks and IoT.
Exceed revenue** and acquisition targets, owning your portfolio with accountability for monthly, quarterly and annual outcomes.
Use **Salesforce CRM** with discipline, ensuring visibility across pipeline, opportunities and customer engagement.
Be a core part of our sales culture — participating in strategic reviews, pipeline scrums, tender planning and coaching sessions.
**Represent Optus** as the partner of choice across industry forums, events and customer engagements.
**Stay on the front foot** by monitoring competitor activity and market shifts — and translating insight into opportunity.
Collaborate across Optus's product, service and solution teams to deliver more value to every customer.
What you'll bring
Proven success in enterprise sales **(5+ years)** with a track record of exceeding targets.
Advanced **relationship management skills**, with the ability to engage up to **C-level**.
Deep understanding of enterprise mobility, IoT, messaging and managed network solutions.
Strategic sales mindset — ability to design, pitch and execute sales strategies with tangible outcomes.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to read market dynamics, customer drivers and competitive landscapes.
High resilience, accountability and energy to thrive in a fast-moving, customer-first sales organisation.
