We are looking for a Trainer/Assessor for Certificate III in Carpentry program who is not only passionate about their profession but also has a genuine desire to influence the lives of their students positively. Ideal candidates will have the necessary qualifications and an eagerness to empower the upcoming generation of professionals in the carpentry and construction fields. If you are patient, trustworthy, proactive in problem-solving, and keen on understanding and meeting the needs and expectations of students, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in a comparable position within a Registered Training Organization (RTO) who will strongly desire to transition into vocational education delivery. Additionally, you must be committed to upholding the highest training and assessment practices standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

  • Proven industry work experience

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative approach

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail

  • Adherence to policies and procedures to maintain compliance standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and conduct assessments.

  • Develop session and training plans to support students across various delivery modes.

  • Contribute to the assessment validation and quality assurance processes.
