The Role
As a Legal Support Officer (Level 2), you will provide ODPP staff, including Solicitors, and Crown Prosecutors with high quality administrative support in the delivery of an effective and efficient prosecution service.
A talent pool will be created to fill current and future vacancies in our Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith and Campbelltown ODPP offices that may arise over the next 18 months.
As a Legal Support Officer (Level 2), you will:
- Register, maintain, and update matters and files, ensuring accurate electronic and physical records.
- Prepare and organise briefs of evidence, file notes, exhibits, witnesses, court lists, and related documentation.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, and conferences to support solicitors and Crown Prosecutors.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including police, legal practitioners, witnesses, and court registry staff, to exchange information and provide assistance.
- Draft and manage correspondence, perform general office duties, including photocopying, supply management, mail delivery, and occasional reception support as required.
