We are seeking an enthusiastic Breaks Cover Educator to join our team at Mt Atkinson Children's and Community Centre.
Mt Atkinson Kindergarten, situated in Truganina, opened its doors in January 2023. Located within the Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre, the kindergarten can accommodate up to 132 children each day. Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre offers a variety of services, including three and four-year-old kindergarten programs, maternal and child health services, and spaces for community meetings and activities. These services are designed to support the needs of this rapidly growing suburban area.
This is a part time, ongoing position working 6 hours per week on a Tuesday from 11am to 3pm and Thursday from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
About you
- You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
- You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
- You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
- You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
- You value kindness and respect.
- You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
- You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.
