ABOUT THE ROLE

Opportunity knocks for experienced and qualified Early Learning Co-educators to join Mentone Grammar ELC on a casual basis.

The successful applicants will work with our 3 and/or 4-year-old groups (max of 17 in a group) and will actively support the Early Learning Teachers to deliver a high quality, engaging educational and play-based program within a safe learning environment and assist with the children's positive engagement and learning.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants are invited to submit a Resume and Cover Letter of no more than 300 words that addresses the following Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Appropriate qualifications as a Kindergarten Co-Educator
  2. A genuine commitment to their own learning
  3. A proven record as an outstanding Kindergarten Co-Educator
  4. Success in fostering a love of learning and a commitment to excellence
  5. A proven ability to develop productive relationships with students, staff and parents
  6. An understanding of the requirements for ensuring child safety

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required

  • Experience working in an Early Learning Centre is required
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Development
  • Hold current and up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis qualifications and Mandatory Reporting
  • Willing to undergo a National Crime Check
  • A strong understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the Code of Ethics
